Jesse began performing at nine with his family then high school dances, college fraternity gigs, and local taverns where he was quick to learn the tricks of the trade. 

At the age of 16, he made his first solo recording using the two track recorder he bought with the money he earned playing music.  At 18, he joined the Clossy Brothers Country Band and went on the road.  It all was a part of the musical adventures of Jesse Walker that continue today.   

Jesse has performed and recorded with dozens of country artists, as well as recording twenty solo albums and 100 TV shows on WYOU TV Madison.  While owning and operating Telestar recording studio, he performed for thousands of people at every venue from large concert halls to local social events.  

In 1998, Jesse won the Q106 Country Music Hall of Fame award.  In 2002 he was awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Country Music Federation for outstanding efforts in the advancement of country music.  In 2004, he won Best Country Album from the Madison Area Music Awards.
